Above and beyond regular use, there is no special care to living with natural stone, just wipe down with dish soap and water after use. Do not use chemicals, vinegar or abrasive cleaners.
We are often asked about regular maintenance and application of stone sealers. You should not be regularly applying stone sealers, when you purchase from a reputable and experienced stone retailer.
Sealed Stone
Stone should be sealed upon installation and typically depending on use, resealed every 15 - 20 years.
It should only be sealed again, if ever and only if showing signs of absorbing liquids.
